My 3 Gorges cruise on the Victoria Lianna was well organised and provided everything as advertised. The cabin and food were fine, and there was even WiFi available (mountains permitting) which I was not expecting. I was alone and was put in a twin cabin with another, and so not obliged to pay a single supplement, which I appreciated. On this sailing the ship was full with mostly Chinese groups, and I also appreciated that the (few) foreigners were seated together for meals and always provided with an English-speaking guide for shore excursions. Not being on a group tour, when leaving the ship at Yichang I needed an onward train ticket for the evening. The local service manager Felix Hu was wonderful, finding a place to leave my luggage while I spent the day in the city, and personally bringing me the ticket he had bought for me even though it was a Sunday, his day off. Exemplary service!Tony Bonnaud. 3 Gorges cruise February 2012
